Loosing bluetooth or GPS connection and need passkey

Hi,
I have a hx2410 and tt5 with gp-27 reciever. Lately the unit has been either loosing it's GPS reception or the bluetooth connection between them. This may be corrected by switiching the reciever off for a while. However, the unit will not work again without a bluetooth passkey, which I obviously can't put into the PPC while driving.
Please help, this is driving me mad.
Specifically, how can I tell if it's a GPS or bluetooth problem? And how can I connect the ipaq and gps reciever without having to put in the passkey?

Welcome. have you paired the devices together and selected trust paired devices? this should get rid of the connection problems - Mike

Thanks for that advice. Unfortunately when I go through the process of 'exploring bluetooth device' and leave secure connection unchecked, it still requires a passkey.
