Hello
I've just got a new Tom Tom 500. I've noticed that when driving or viewing the demo I see momentary freezes in the picture especially if instructions are being spoken at the same time.
Is this normal/expected?
Thanks, Mark |

Are you using traffic at the same time?
It can slow things down a bit when it's downloading the traffic information. _________________ Thanks,

Nope - just the tom Tom on it's own. The only extras loaded are the gps speed camera database and the standard free voices... |

Out of interest what Size SD Card is provided as standard with the 500. With the 300 I was getting freezes and lockups - particularly after upgrading the card. This was cured when I moved to a 256MB card. The 128MB provided as standard for the 300 is a little close for comfort.

I think it's 256MB to allow for the 200+ of the Plus Map. _________________ Richard
