Help please.
I've upgraded to TT5 from TT3. Used to work fine with my Navman sleeve. Now I can't get a GPS signal. Any ideas?
Thanks. |

Set as 'Other cable GPS, 57600 baud, Navman driver', then give the GPSR a good view of the sky. _________________ Tim |

The only way to get TT5 to work with Navman sleeve properly is to invest in patch antenna, if your sleeve has connector on the side. Patch antenna can be placed very close to windscreen and amplifies signal to the levels you remember from TT3 GPS driver.
If we didn't get GPS patches from TT by now the chances are we won't see them for loooong time. They are clearly trying to phase out from PPC market. |

I've got an ipaq 3970 and 3630 both with navman sleeves and both work fine. You just got to make sure to install the right driver. Tomtom supplied the drivers under ver2 & 3 but not so under ver5.
You can download the driver here

I have an older sleeve which needed the Navman GPS driver, and i have a newer navman sleeve which uses the copilot driver.
Install both and you can't go wrong. Select Navman driver from within tomtom and baud 57400 |
