POI Range (TomTom Go 300)

I have a TomTom Go 300 with Tony's tax, sorry, safety camera database installed. The map range seems to be about 800 yards. If I set a POI (camera) warning sound in excess of 800 yards I get no warning sound but the camera symbol does appear when in map range. As cameras on bridges can zap you at ranges of 1000 yards (and more) does anyone know of a way of getting more advance warnings than 800 yards??? TIA

You should be able to set a higher limit. I set my Mobile 70 and TBA to 1000 yards and receive the warnings.

If you Disable the Enable/Disable setting in Manage POI, but leave the Warn When Near on, do you still see the icon and not hear the warning?
