I have installed mapopolis for a visit to spain next week, so that i can find the kidney dialysis unit for my wife, had loads of trouble getting tt3 bluetooth reciever to work with mapopolis, but eventually managed it.
However, i rather stupidly removed my sd card to make it write protected and now the gps reciever will not connect with mapopolis but is ok with tt3. I have put the settings that worked before, with no joy.
Can anyone help as i desperately need this to work.
regards

Make sure the TomTom has actually fully shut down, if you go to settings, memory and then select running programs followed by stop all then it will unload the TT GPS driver from the PDA memory, failing that a soft reset will certainly unload it, then the other software should work fine (I get this when switching from Memory map back to TomTom quite a lot) - Mike |

Mike,
tt3 uses com port 8 , but mapopolis says com port 8 not available
I have turned it off as you suggested , but the damn thing still won't work
any more suggestions.
someone out there must be using the same system and maps, or am i better buying a wired gps reciever to solve the problem or will it remain on a cable system.
