HI GUYS
I have just upgraded to a 700 and was wondering how to install splash screens on my 700 i did have a 300 and it was quite easy just replacing the old file named splash in the root directory can anybody help as i cant find a file named splash in the 700 directory. i installed one of my splash screens and can see the file in the directory but when i boot the tom tom up it does not come up
any help would be much appreciated

I believe it should be exactly the same as on the 300.
Have you got the size right, is it rotated 90 degrees, and is it a bmp file? _________________ Richard

Hookie,
How do you rate the 700 against the 300, do you think the extra cost is justified etc.
I have had the classic and now the 700, and I think it was money well spent coz of the maps & hands free.
