Eureka!!!! Someone who has the 'losing GPS with voice commands ' problem!!! Been posting all over the place to find someone who even knows the issue exists!
cgriff, I have this problem with TTnavigator 5 , Navman SmartST V3 and Destinator PN all on the M2000. However, I am interested to know if you were using the headphones at the time? My tests have shown that it only happens when I plug in the M2000 supplied phones. It doesn't make any sense and even HTC UK confirmed that as far as they know the headphones simply 'hijack' the speaker feed and I would guess the most there is in the equation is a resistor to drop the level. But it drives me mad! My Nokia Bluetooth Car Kit is now in our lass' BMW as it didn't work with M2000 (awful echo) so soldiered on with headphones. But when your navigating through rush hour London and you get a call its useless as the Navigation software loses its fix every time.
So can you confirm that you were using the headphones? If you still have the unit can you confirm that it only does it with them plugged in?
My collegue has just bought a ThinkNavi cradle with M2000 and TT Navigator 5 so I'm interested to see if he experiences the same problem so I can nail it to the cradle or the phone. He's just installed it today so should get some feedback from him.
BTW the other issue with the Holux CR100 is the racket from the phone. Had to attack mine with the toolkit. See here: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=13307&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=105
cgriff, just seen that you already replied to the my other post. So much for tracking the topic! No notifications recieved. Gonna leave the above for the benefit of others. |

Just to keep things straight and so no-one reads this and thinks its a Holux issue take a look at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=28701 Its actually the M2000 thats doing it. (confirmed beause the phone appears under different names on different networks but only the Orange variant appeats to have the problem) _________________ Tom Tom GO 720
