TT Mobile 5, a bluetooth GPS & a Nokia 6630 - not talkin

I have a Nokia 6630, a bluetooth gps receiver (GP-27) & tomtom mobile5 software. I have paired the devices but tomtom tells me 'no GPS device'. It seems to pick up my current location & then lose signal or connection. My connection mgr on the phone tells me there are 'no active connections'. I cannot seem tioget get everything to talk. Can someone please advise & put me out of my misery?

do you have any other Bluetooth devices you could connect to inscase its your phone or the GPS receiver that is faulty.
