Hi all,

First of all if this question has been answered a million times before I apologise. I have looked but I can't find anything readily.

As above really. I use the POI Sync service to download various POI's (speed cameras, various other things) and SOME (not all of them) still insist on showing themselves as red boxes. I've tried a soft reset and got nowhere. I've looked at the files and the names seem to be correct and that's where my "expertise" ends I'm afraid. This is being done with TT5.1 on an Ipaq 2210. Maps on the CF card.

Any help gratefully received.

The red boxes are because TT5 is not reading the .BMP files correctly.

They need to be filed with the .OV2 files in the Map folder on the memory card, be 22x22 pixels, and have exactly the same name as the .OV2 files.

Regards,

Steve

I get red boxes too, and the .BMP files and OV2 files are definately in the right folder. I'm not sure about 22x22 pixels, but don't they they default to the correct size when downloaded and expanded from the zip file?

Regards
