I used to use Checkpoint 3 with TTN 3 and it was fine.

I could close TTN and leave Checkpoint sitting in the background just waiting for TomTom to start up again and it worked fine

I have made the mistake of upgrading to TTN5.1 (great isn't it Rolling Eyes ) and loaded the appropriate version of Checkpoint 5.02 to run alongside it.

Now when I exit TTN - Checkpoint also exits, Rolling Eyes

I also had Checkpoint 3 set to start Nav when it started - can't seem to be able do that with Checkpoint 5, without messing for five minutes at the side of the road.

The problem is now - it is easy to start TTN, but to forget to start Checkpoint and then I get no speed (safety) camera warnings. :x

Are there any workarounds to get them both to start and synch together as on the previous versions.?

I have tried Check POI for tt5,1 and given up, for now I just use the in built system, which, when loaded with the speed cams, and voice file (Data.CHK) it works fine for me, ok no speed warning which is a loss, its easy to get two warnings, just copy the dbase in twice and set-up for different distance. At least this way you get the warning when needed without forgetting to start the warner. To the team creating CheckPOI - its a great bit of code, just needs the interface to be a tad slicker -Mike
