bt338 problem connecting to Qtek S100

Please help. I just bt338 to use with ttn5.1. Everything seems ok upto the teh pairing stage. The problem is I have tried all the COM ports with varied Baud rate with no luck. Please advise what i am doing wrong. I just cannot get bt338 to communicate with my PDA

- make sure the receiver is set to NMEA
- NO need for Pairing! Subscribe to the serial port service of the receiver
- in the BT settings, find the Outgoing serial port
- in TTN, select that port after selecting "Other BT receiver"
