How do I pair a Tom Tom 300 with my new mobile (bluetooth enabled) phone - Sony K700i (pay as you go)? This phone is on the tomtom list as being compatible but I have tried everything and it will not pair up. I therefore tried my son's phone, which is also on the list, but is a contract phone and this will not pair up either. I have managed to reach the point where a message is received on the Tomtom screen "do you wish to make the wireless internet connection now". When I press to continue the mobiles then disconnect. I have contacted Vodafone, Sony and Tomtom but nobody seems able to help me.
Please please does anybody know the answer?

i have a k770i on pay as you go and mine works with tom tom go 300, this is what you need to do
1 have your bluetooth enabled on your phone
2 go to connect phone on th go menu
3 select you phone model, and country
4 then select, ie, orange wap [contract] if you choose pay as you go, it will dissconnect straight away, for some reason it only works if you select [wap contract] you still pay via phone credit tho, hope that helps, |

Thanks for your help, but sadly still not working. Not sure whether there is something wrong with the tomtom unit as I have failed to successfully get it to operate with 3 different phones now. |
