I have downloaded the Safety camera database to my laptop but i am having trouble copying it to my SD card.Everytime i try to move or copy the file to the card it does not allow it, instead it says either the disk is write protected or the media is write protected. Is there anyway of removing the write protection so i can do this,i have been trying to save it either as a seperate folder on my SD card or into The Great Britain Plus Map on my SD card but to no avail.

There is a small slider on the side of the SD card which is a "wrie protection" switch. slide that to the other end and you should be able to write to the card, the files by the way go in the Great-Britain-Map folder and need to be individual files the .ov2 and .bmp are the only ons you need, - if you use speed zoned then there should be 18 of each (if you load the continental cams that is). Once you hae done this follow the instructions on this site to configure TT for speed warnings and you should be away. I assume you have a back-up of the SD card stored for future use on your PC, if not do so ASAP, make sure you copy ALL files (have it look for hidden ones before you copy it) - Mike

Apologies Mike but once again i need your help,i have managed to copy the camera files to my storage card in the Great Britain Map thanks to your help, but now i need your assistance in setting it up on my TT. At the moment the cameras are not showing in the POI enable page so i think i need to set the TT up to allow this to happen.I have looked at the instructions on this site and i'm afraid i'm not sure which set of instructions i should follow, once again many thanks.

If the POIs aren't listed in the available POIs list then you've done something wrong.

See the guide for PPC here

and GO here.

Do you use MSN if so click the button on my proffile and add me as a contact - then I will take you through the setup - its not difficult but just easier than filling this thread with instructions, I assume you unzipped the files before putting them on the card and took them out of their folders as I have seen a lot of people just copy the entire downloaded folder on to the SD card then wonder why it doesn't work - Mike
