Hi all,

Can anyone with a GR-236 unit tell me if it keeps WAAS/EGNOS enabled after power off, or if WAAS/EGNOS is even enabled by default from factory.

I received the following message from Holux upon my question why my GR-213 disables WAAS/EGNOS after disconnecting from power:

In actually , the GPSlim236 has enable the WAAS/EGNOS in default , and I think that your receiver has some problem in your chip , can you send it back to analysis ? Or you can try to use the Sirf Demo utility to let this device reset to default , and try to check this issue has still happen.

The problem we has test in the other device , it work smoothly in the same firmware .

Before I send my unit back for investigation I'd like to hear from someone owning a GR-236 if he/she can verify the statement in above message. If WAAS/EGNOS is indeed kept enabled after power off I would very much like to know what firmware version the unit has.
