Hi, just picked up a cheap usedbut still immaculate condition medion ppc 150 sat nav unit, wonder if anyone can help me out with a few questions I have on this particular unit ??
1/ want to install tom tom 5 navigator - likely to be any probs ??
2/ unfortunately my unit came without a mains charger, just a usb pc to pda cable, does this cable infact charge the pda itself when connected to the pc or is it just purely for transferring data from pc to pda ??
3/ the pda also came minus the instruction manual, anyone be so kind enough as to send me a copy ?? would obviously be only too happy to cover all costs involved.
4/ is this pda a clone off any others on the uk market ?? have heard the models md 95000 / md 95459 mentioned ?? would be handy to know when looking for the above mains charger, cigar lighter adapter etc .
5/ performance ?? how well does the inbuilt gps antena actually perform ??
think thats it ??!! again if anyone can help me out with either the user instructions or mains / car charger for this unit then please do get in touch ( uk based )
thanks again. |

1 - no probs though you might need to tweak the gps settings to show satelite connections strength
2 - The standard cable does not charge by itself - if the LED on the right at the top of the unit comes on (orange or green), it is charging
3 - Send me a Personal message with an email address and I'll send you a copy
4 - It is the same as the Mitac Mio 168
5 - I'm very happy with it
Accessories (including mains adaptor) available on https://www.medionshop.co.uk/ |

Quick question ??
what version off the tom tom navigator can I use with my pda as I see there are two tt5 navigator versions available - bluetooth and wired, will either version off navigator work on this machine ?? or does it have to be the wired version off the software only ??
thanks again |
