Navigon software upgrade from 4.2 through 4.4 to 4.75 - OK?

Hi there,

are the Navigon 4.2, 4.4 and 4.75 versions all compatible? I'm thinking of upgrading to 4.75 from 4.2 on my Medion PNA.

As long as the program version you have matches the unit e.g. PNA/PDA you have it should be ok.

PNA's use WINCe 4.2 where as the PDA's use PocketPC software, put in the wrong one and there maybe trouble ahead.

Do a backup on activesync before attempting it though.

You can always do a hard reset if it totally makes a mess.

have been reading this thread and was wondering if you can go from Navigator v4.75 backwards to v4.2 ??
