I've no idea what im looking for, please help!!!!

Im looking to get a sat nav system and am not sure weather to go for an all in one system or a pda based system. I don't want to spend to much just incase i find its not for me, but then again i dont want some crappy system. Im based in ireland and have been told the NAVTEC software has the best mapping of these parts....

Can somebody please recomend me something, anything!!!!!

I suggest you take a look at the Garmin StreetPilot i3 from Maplin Electronics at £199. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=48004&TabID=1&source=3&doy=2m10
This includes Navteq maps of UK and Ireland.
