I set up my Go 500 hardwired in my car and it works fine. Somewhere I have set it to only go to night screen when my headlights are on. This doesnt work so bright day screen at night. How do I remove this option so I can switch manually? |

Change preferences / Docking preferences / Link night view to headlights

Good.
When you refer to 'hardwired' are you using the optional (and expensive!) car installation kit? If so, if this is correctly installed it should have connections to the headlights (for the purpose you mention) and to the radio (for muting).
If you're just using the standard mount - but hardwiring the power rather than using the cigar lighter socket - it doesn't do any of these things. _________________ Roger

The connection to the headlights goes via the ISO connectors. If the wiring loom of your car does not have the headlights connected to the ISO connector, then it will not work. |
