|

Is there any way to get a trial of POI-Warner? I installed the unregistered version in the hope it would work for 30 days or something, but it won't do anything unless it's registered.
I need to trial it to see if it will actually do what I want it to do first.
I want to enter geocache coordinates. On the PNA200S if I enter a latitude and longitude by directly hacking the favourites file, when I load the location into Navigator it changes my coordinates to be a point on the nearest road to the point I entered. I don't want it to do that.
I was wondering if POI-Warner could have a POI that is not on a road, and what happens if you try to navigate to it?
Basically I don't want to spend 30 euros on a program if I can't test that it will actually work how I want it to work. |

You can place a poi anywhere on the map and POI-Warner will display it, BUT, if when in the POI-Warner menu you select search in radius, and then select a poi as next destination and it's not where say Navigon likes it, it will just say Unable to find the transmitted address on the current map. |

Thanks for the info.
As I suspected it will be of no use to me then.
Looks like I'll have to write that program for converting geocaching .loc files into Navigon .rte itineries after all then............... |
