Navman 510 incar charger problems

Hi- Has anyone experienced problems with the in car charger on the Navman 510. I used mine for the first time recently after fully charging the unit at home with the mains charger, only to have it run out of power in the car after about 4 hours. The incar charger was pemanently connected during this period. A colleague has had the same problem. Its as if the amount of power going into the unit is insufficient to keep it going-hence the problem. Is this widespread and is there a cure? All help appreciated. Thanksjavascript:emoticon('

Did you get a amber or green light next to the word Navman, top left of 510?

If not the charger wasn't plugged in properly, or there is a fault with the charger.
