It's a corrupted file, even if you did manage to download it TomTom wouldn't be able to read it.
Some times you can manage to manually download from a site and convert the .ov2 to an ASCII file and then edit it with a text editor, correct the errors, save it, convert it back to .ov2 and use it.
Which site was you trying to get it from? _________________ Graham.

Hi Graham
Thanks for the reply
I chose it from the poi on the Pocketgps website LPG-F is the file in question. I've updated The one next to it LPG-NF with no problems and I have a good copy of the LPG-F before trying to update it so I'm not lost without the update, but I am wondering why or how it got "invalid" Could I have corrupted it,? or would it be a corrupted file on the website?
Any help appreciated
Regards

There are a couple of corrupted files on the site, one of them being Steam Trains, managed to get it down and got it edited out and working. I'l have a go and see if I can get the LPG-F one down and have a look at it. _________________ Graham.

Managed to download it along with a couple of others giving the same error, I opened them using POI Converter and saved them as .asc
Then opened the .asc file in POIEdit corrected the errors and saved as .ov2 over writing the original .ov2 file and they work ok but the original archives on this site need to be corrected. _________________ Graham.
