|
|
I've just returned from a long journey - using TT Traffic on the way.
I've got it set to "optimise my route".
When traffic alerts came up I could select them - it didn't route me around anything automatically so I'm assuming it wasn't worth it (this would fit with what Navigon does)
Although If I did select the incident then ask it to replan it did nothing as well. Took me down the same route.
Can anyone explain what logic it uses (if any :D )
Thanks in advance _________________ Thanks,

I use the same service also. Sometime it automaticly gives me a new route but I think this will only work depending on the lenth of the jam. Say is only a few hundered yards and maybe a few mins extra to get through the it's not worth plotting a new route.
If it likly to be a 10 mile tailback the a couple of hours to get through it then it will give you a new route automaticly.
I maybe be wrong though!!! |

I found all it did was bing when new jams were detected. I had to physically look at the jams on the route and then choose to avoid them manually. |

Thanks for your replies
As long as it's making a logical decision that's OK.
I was concerned it wasn't doing anything. _________________ Thanks,

Hi, newbie here so hope you all don't bite!!
Basically, just purchased a TT Go 300 which is being delivered tomorrow. I'm gonna try the speed camera POI thing tomorrow night and am also considering the traffic option as I'm going to be using this a lot for work.
Does anybody know the amount of MB the traffic uses over a month? Thats the only thing that bothers me about it all. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Tim. |

It's not much - best thing is to try it for a month and see as tariffs and networks vary so much. _________________ Thanks,
