Custom mount advice please! :)

hi, I recently brought a PDA (Dell Axim X30) and then the Arkon mount with build in receiver and everything works perfect.
I use GPS quite a lot locally as well and its quite a hassle for me to keep having to take the sunction mount off the car when I leave the car and then putting everything back on 1 hour later, I know I can just leave the arm on its own and slide the main unit off however my cars not very secure so I dont want to give any indication that I may have a GPS receiver in the car.

What I was wondering was is there anything available that I can fit to somewhere in my car (dont mind if its permanent) that I can slide the main arkon receiver/holder onto, I know it doesnt make much sense but here what it looks like! :

as you can see I just need something that will slide into that slot like the current arm does, doesnt matter if it doesnt have that round indentation in the middle as the slot is blocked right at the end.
So was just wondering if any of you had any ideas, doesnt even have to be right size as I can probably cut it to the right size.
somewhere on the middle or even on the right hand side would be ideal, once I have something sturdy I can just slide the mount in and out whenever I go out, would be brill.

I'm thinking of getting this: http://www.gpsforless.co.uk/product_details.php?id=1371 (I phoned up and confirmed the dimensions of the plate and my arkon mount should slide straight onto it)

I'm just trying to figure out where to screw it on, they dont seem to have a proclip for my car (mine is 94, they only have it for pre 91), the "Nissan Sunny Sedan" seems to look very similar to my car however as far as I know mine is just a plain nissan sunny.
I might just have to go for the http://www.dashmount.co.uk/Nissan/71856.htm instead, either that or find a good place to screw the mount directly on.
Need to do some thinking, as always any bright ideas appreciated
