Postcodes (again - groan)

Does a full postcode search work with viamichelin 3.1? If I input a postcode, the software still requires a street name or asks me to select town centre. it wont find a full postcode (SW1 1AA for example) but will accept part postcode (ie SW1 1) but still requires the street name. Am I just being an idiot or is there solution?
