this is slowly winding me up! my toshiba e750 does not seem to have com 1 anywhere! installed is tom tom 3 wired and there is no com 1 in the gps setup at all i have unticked incoming beams still no joy,has anybody got any ideas before i count to one hundred! i would be really happy if anybody has any more advise.thanks again to everybody who are doing there best |

It is a wired GPS?

hi , the receiver is a tom tom 3 wired and the driver is loaded off the update cd that is in the box ( 2 cds in the box, 1 original, 1 update). but i have reports about a bad driver, the symbol ~ appears next to the driver in the listings, any ideas thanks |

Can you get the driver from Tom Tom?
If you have installed the driver OK, it might not be com1 it has installed.
It may well be com2.
Try other available com port which Tom Tom can detect. _________________ Pc-Mobile
