i currently have a tomtom nav 5 system consisting of a wired gps and a hp jornada which is running sweet

however my problem is on friday i m taking delivery of a new peugeot 307 and have been told there are problems with these cars with the athermic windscreens and gps

is there any system on the market which will work with these screens an external arial is not an option as my system won't accomodate one but i know newer systems take them

so any suggestions on what system to buy should i need a new one

any advice would be great

i am going to try my current system before condeming it to gps heaven

A re-radiating GPS antenna would solve your problem, see here.
