Mio 168 + Windows Mobile 2003

Hi

Can anyone tell me which version of Windows Mobile 2003 the MIO 168 uses?

Also if it isn't Windows Mobile 2003 SE can it be upgraded to this version?

Its just Windows Mobile 2003 - not SE, and no you cannot update it, that would require a flash rom update from Mitac which they have not done.

I see the MIO 168RS has Windows Mobile 2003 SE, could this version not be used?

I'm not sure but I think that the RS version was released for the USA market only, it may use the SE version but you would need to ask Mitac if you could use that version on a none SE version Mio 168, then how would you get hold of the flash rom update !

They would not release it for use by the general public or any body else for that matter.
