I am a new smartphone user with a new Audiovox SMT 5600, and would like recommandations for a GPS solution, both hardware and software.

I would like something that I can use in the car, on our boat, and on a bikeride. I live in the northeast USA. CoPilot seems to be the most heavily marketed solution out there, but there seems to be others to choose from. I would like something that works very well with MS Smartphpone devices. I'm also considering writing some of my own software for fun as I am a software developer myself.

Thanks!
-Bill

I think I'm leaning towards co-pilot. $349 for both the bluetooth receiver and the software doesn't seem to bad. TomTom looks great, but I can't find anything for the Smartphone in the US. Don't know about destinator, I'll take a look.

Thanks for the advice!
