Hello,

I have a MIO168 and basically the map is so inaccurate it’s a joke.

Why has none else ever said this!

I have used the product on proven route and on unproven route.

On the proven routes it certainly uses interesting route, but hey that's the GPS world. On the unproven routes it failed to get me there every single time.

I put it in a drawer for three months and went back to paper, to be accurate a three year old battered map of the UK.

It’s a great PDA but when it comes for postcode to postcode navigation it’s woefully inaccurate.

Is there a version of the MIOMAP software that has PROPER postcode information? I tried the http://www.mio-tech.be/support/default.asp link and got more and more frustrated. I even tried sending them an email but..........just read frustration here!

I visited their online shop and found a Europe map, which will be fine for next summer, but hey I want to use my unit now! Its summer and Suffolk is a 10 minute drive followed closely by the wonders of Norfolk, I exclude explicitly the football team who name shall not be mentioned.

Can anyone advise?
