Hi,
I'm helping a friend set up TomTom 2 on his Dell Axim, he has got a cable to connect to his Garmin Etrex and it seems to work ok, in the GPS app, it is set to NMEA and on the Etrex too. The GPS app picks up sats ok and reports the postion. Going to Navigator, it shows our position on the map and the number of sats, but when entering a route, it says something along the lines of cannot calculate route until GPS position reliable and it is flashing an icon at the bottom left of the screen as though the serial connection is broken. Yet it is definitely working, because it is showing 5 or 6 sats and our position.... Ideas anyone? Is there a way to force it to calculate the route anyway?
