|
|
Just done the update to V5, followed the link to download the 4109_new.data.chk file. Renamed the old one, changed the name of the new one. All working lovely but.....
Why is Beep 1 going "BING BONG Gatso" instead of just "Gatso"??? All the other's seem to work fine, I apologise if this has been covered I've read through a few threads to check and couldn't find anything, this will drive me crazy 8O I'm doing about 100 miles per day at the min and have started depending on it!
Hope this makes sense. |

That's the way it was constructed. Several users requested it and Lutz did it. _________________ Richard

ok thanks for the reply,
How would I go about makeing my own sound file???? I personaly would like to keep the gatso warning, along with gatso 30, 40, 50, 60 also have a 70. I'd get rid of the different mobile speed sounds and just have one "Mobile" sound. I'd make a sound saying "fancy a brew" when I was within 200 yds of a mates house :D
Or is this a bit to comlicated to do???? |

If you do a search for 'viftool' you will turn up a number of threads that deal with making voice files. _________________ Richard

I'm slightly confused as to what's currently out there. I was using the spoken camera alerts with v4.42 - but, having upgraded to v5, I'm back to gongs and cows! AIUI, the v4.42 data.chk file doesn't work with v5?
Is there a complete file which does work with v5? Is Lutz's code generally available for making one's own files?
My ideal would be to have spoken warnings for each of the zoned categories PLUS the existing Bell 2 as a general/advanced warning. I would then use both the zoned and unzoned Gatso files, with the bell for the unzoned ones at (say) 500 yards and with the spoken warnings when getting a bit nearer.
Any offers?

We've compiled a new version for the GO 5 (4109).
If you want your own variations, please take rayflan up on his offer. _________________ Lutz

Thanks rayflan,
I'd like
Gatso
Gatso 30
Gatso 40
Gatso 50
Gatso 60
Gatso 70
Mobile
Redlight
Specs
Fancy a brew
Cheers, if you can't do the "fancy a brew" it doesn't matter.
I did a test drive yesterday, and the "BING BONG gatso" will just drive me bonkers.
Thanks again, my email is admin@bikenews.co.uk |
