Tomtom go300 having problem keeps restarting

Hello everyone I am new to this and tomtom.
I am having problems with the 300 Go.
After a while it starts to restart just like when you
turn it on.
I have put the camera information on and have the 128 SD card in,
it works, but the thing will just out the blue retart.
Sometimes it will be ok on a journey and others it will just keep restarting.

The Tomtom is only 2 days old.

Help please???

Two things to check:
Is the SD card properly seated, and the write protect switch not flopping about loose (although I've been told the TomTom ignores that).

More likely though, is that you are short of space on the card. The system apparently needs about 2M of space to use for temporary storage (although mine is surviving OK with about 1.2MB at the moment).
To free up soome space, the first suggestion is to delete the foreign language voice files (around 1MB each).
