Hi,

I see that Sprite Backup is used by many of you here so I am gong to buy a copy but before I do can you answer these questions.

Does this programme back up the whole of my PDA like all the TT5 I installed & all the system settings ?.

Does the Active-Sync not do the same ?.

Why is Sprite better ?.

Many thanks

Yes, the only thing that it doesn’t back up is the storage card. Thumbs Up

No, people have found that that type of backup does not always restore everything.

Firstly it does backup everything on your PDA, to your storage card. Secondly, because it backs up to your storage card, you don’t need your PC/Laptop to restore the PDA. This is so important if you go on holiday and for some reason the PDA does a hard-reset. You just ensure that the battery level is OK (one of the main reasons for a hard-reset is that the battery becomes fully discharged) and you run the self-extracting restore and you’re ready to run.

Buying Sprite Backup is a no brainer. Every body who has a PocketPC should have the utilty.

One word of warning – I don’t know if there is a copy of Sprtire Backup for WM2005 yet.

Regards,
