I changed my Treo 650 yesterday and now, when trying to get my device cose TTN5 from TT website, it comes up with a device code for my old machine. Obviously I can't use that. What do I do now then?

When you run the s/w for the first time it will generate a device code. This needs to be entered into www.ttcode.com which will in turn generate an activation code
7 days need to have elapsed between installing on the first & second devices & 6 months for the third. If you provide TomTom with proof that the device has been repaired/replaced they will allow activation sooner. |

Managed to get hold of TomTom support by phone and she reativated it for me which is brilliant! Should have been done by fax with proof etc but as the product for only a week or so, she was kind.
Two questions? On the screen when first flashing up, it gave me the option of setting my home address. I missed it and now that part of preferences is greyed out. I cannot find out how to put it in. Any ideas please? Have I got to uninstall it and put the card in again. Will that mess up my device code?
I have put all the TomTom stuff on a 512Mb card as the other one was nearly full. When I try and start the program, it does a soft reset every time. Again, is this usual when not using the original 128Mb card?
Thanks

When you enter a favourite without a home location set it will ask you whether you want to set it as the home location.

You're a star, thank you. Why couldn't they put that in the manual or did they and I missed it?
Any ideas on the SD card resetting?

Not really other than it should work on any card. You probably have a missing or corrupt file. Try reformatting the card and copy the data again.
