my system is an ipaq2210 with 128 CF card and wired GPS, which has been running tt3 with poi warner, checkpoint speed camera overlay and tt traffic quite happily for 12 months. Thought tt5 looked tempting, ordered it waited 3 weeks and finally it arrived.
Upgrade instructions - delete uk map folder, install installation disc, great, put the map disc in for my region, guessed at map 1 for UK, laptop announces not enough space in temp folder....argh. Nothing in the temp folder as far as I can see.
Tried installing this a few times now and had to revert to TT3 again, which is working better than ever as I couldn't remember the travelling speed settings I'd been using and the new ones send me on more acceptable routes.
Anyone had similar problems on the upgrade front? What did you do to get around it please? Could the poi warner etc be getting in the way? If so how could I clear them out to allow tt5 maps to load in successfully?
tt3 has been great for me. I am jealous of the postings that report loading tt5 first time, I must be doing something wrong but I'm jiggered if I can tell what it is HELP PLEASE |

To install maps from disc 1 insert the CD into PC/Laptop then open/explore CD, you will see the Tomtom Setup program on the CD copy or drag this onto your Windows desktop and then run the program from there. The setup program tries to write to a Temp folder in the same location or root folder to the same drive as the place from where the program is run and as you can not write to a cd-rom you get an error. |

Your 128 MB card is too small for GB maps in TT5
