Can anyone help?
I have Fugawi software loaded onto my Pocket Pc 2002 Ipaq 4140 but I can't link it to the BT GPS receiver. Error message: Port error Communications error 55. I've tried changing the port in the prefs. but does not seem to make any difference. (The IPAQ and GPS work okay with Tom Tom)
Any thoughts appreciated. |

I had the same message with my HP2210.
The only way I have been able to get round it, so there may be a better way I don't know about, is to activate the BT to the GPS before activating the Fugawi SW.
Doing that works. |

Many thanks but I've tried that and it doesn't seem to work. Can you remeber what port you set up in GPS prefs? |

I read somewhere that TomTom takes control of the GPS and there are two solutions.
1. Editing the registry files on PPC
2. Use GPSGate software.
The software allows your GPS to be used by all other programs. You must download and install a TomTom Plugin first. This website will help you:
