Silly question, but are the USA maps for TT5? I didn't think they had been issued yet

They seem to be on sale already. But it's a valid question, lammspicy may indeed have tried to use v4 maps - those won't work easily, only after the "fix" in the PNA file. _________________ Lutz

is this the pna fix ?
You need to edit the content of the .pna file itself as follows:
Locate the .pna file for the map.
Copy that file back to your Desktop computer.
Open the .pna file in a Text Editor (Notepad?).
On the third line, change the version number from "3xx" to "562" [ <- "xx" = whatever number! ]
Save the file and copy it back to the Memory card replacing the original one. |

why does the above say 562 ? Does this depend on the version of navigator you have installed ? I have left it at work but can someone tell me how to find out which version I am running if that is the case
thanks |

you have to look into the PNA file. The third line identifies the map build. It seems that TTN5 expects at least 562, but will also use higher numbers. _________________ Lutz

I thought you not only need the pna fix but also a mid file from TTN2004 for the TTN3 maps. |

That's because in additional to the pna fix you also need the map_name.mid file from a v4 map. |

You need to legally own these maps. We can't help you if you don't. _________________ Lutz
