TomTom 5 Sub 40mb GB Maps- do they exist??

Ive been looking around on here and nobody has answered my question as of yet in other posts so here goes

Does Tomtom 5 have smaller GB maps like 3.07 does?

ie, just the southwest at 16mb, 32mb etc, theres no point in me upgrading if these smaller maps dont exist, i have to use a SD gps unit thus loosing my 512mb sd card, so only have 40mb internal permenant storage in my pda
