Tomtom Go - Subsequent Safety Camera Updates

I have had my Tomtom Go 300 about a month and have successfully downloaded the files for speed cameras including the voice options. This was the August database and I now notice that the September version is available.

My question is what files do I have to load to update my system? My train of thought is that I will already have most of the files - are there any problems adding them again?

I suppose that it is also possible that some sites will have been deleted/moved. What should I do about this?

Sorry if this has already been covered - if this is the case a link to the information would be appreciated.

Download the .ov2 files again. Same as you have already. Drag them into the GO and when the box appears asking "files already exist - replace?" click on "yes to all". .bmp files will be the same so you don't need them.

Only difference this month if you use the speed zoned set, there is a new category pocketgps_uk_gatso_var.ov2. You will need to add this one and its matching bmp file.

Check this doesn't take you over the 27 PoI limit or you won't see it.

Thank you sgould - I have successfully downloaded the latest version. Thinking about future updates, other than comparing all the files, how can I find out about changes like the new category in this months file?
