Tungsten T5 OS update 1.1

Has anyone yet updated their Tungsten T5 with palmOne's OS reflash 1.1? Does viaMichelin Navigator 3.1 still work? I ask because I noticed, when installing Navigator, it appears to have a patch to address the T5 NVFS problem with large databases. The OS update is supposed to fix the NVFS problems at source so I'm wondering if the Navigator will then find a conflict.

I could try it but there's no way to rollback the OS update and I'm going to need my maps in anger over the next few weeks. At the same time, I'd like to run the patch to get the other benifits (increased speed and stability).

Hi Steve,

I was lucky enough to get a Tungsten T5 that did not need the 1.1 upgrade (according to the date thingy that the PalmOne site tells you to do to see if it is required).

So, on the assumption that my machine already has 1.1 and runs Mapsonic (via Michellin Navigator) 3.1 fine, I'd say you shouldn't have a problem.
