Evening all

Finally received my new toy (just like Christmas) and rushed to set it up as I am going across country tomorrow and naturally want to try my new toy out.

Feverishly inserted SD card into my T3 and followed the prompts

English UK
Right handed
Miles
Time
Voice

then advises me "no maps found" at which point I can go no further. No query as to activation or any thing.

Card info on my Palm shows 117.9MB used with 1.9MB free of 119.8MB

Help! (has anyone got any ideas as to whatever is going on here?)

TIA

Alan

I hope you have a cardreader.
Copy all content to a local folder on your PC
then format your SD card.
Copy all content back to your Sd card.
Insert the card in your T3.
Should all work now.

If you don't have a cardreader, or not sure about this procedure, just contact Tomtom to replace your SD card.

£29.99 and a new card reader later your kind suggestion resolved this problem thanks.

That was the fix, but what was the problem.

Not impressed with TT that I need to spend money to sort their brand new product out.

Cheers
