Polstar PBT-111

Hi all,

Thanks to everyone who has helped so far.

I am using a Polstar PBT-111 bluetooth GPS receiver with my IPAQ 2210. I am waiting for Destinator 3 software to arrive so I'm testing things out using Pocket Streets.
Things seem to be working OK, I can track my position whilst travelling but wondered; will the GPS receiver be affected by strong sunlight/heat. I have it in the front window of my Volvo so that it can see the max number of satellites. The displayed position always seems to be 20-30 metres behind where the map says I should be. Is this normal or is it a faulty GPS or just a quirk of Pocket Streets.
Finally, I have seen posts on this forum about members making alterations to GPS settings, is this something that can be achieved with all GPS receivers and if so how is it done. My Polstar appears to work OK but I'd appreciate a view from any other users of this brand please.
