As well as this excellent site for information, are there any printed monthly magazines available at the local WH Smiths, etc etc,and if there are, what do people recommend, and what time of the month are they published?

Hi Quinny1,
GPS is coming into the mainstream more and more. Currently the likes of T3 and Stuff regularly feature GPS products throughout their pages. But if you are looking for something a little less 'lads mag' like you could try PDA esssentials which features all sorts of PDA, Mobile and dedicated GPS based systems.
How long before GPS essentials, not too long I'm sure!!

I'm biased because I write PDA Essentials GPS Content but apart from them, PC Pro occasionally feature GPS stuff in their Mobile computing section.
PDA Essentials has the most regular content with two pages of GPS Helpdesk and a further two pages of Hints'n'Tips all dedicated to GPS _________________ Darren Griffin |

I make no claims as to the quality of the content but unless anyone can correct me they do have the most content in quantative terms
It's a measure of the popularity of GPS systems particularly where PDA purchases are concerned that what was a one off article has become a regular.
Anywho, the proof's in the pudding, buy a copy and have a read, of course if you're here already then there's not a lot of point ;) _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks guys.
The reason I ask,is although there are great sites like this,as an HGV driver,it's nice to have something to read when your waiting to be tipped,(Ask Alix) and one gets a bit sick of reading the daily rag.
