Rikaline 6021-x6 and tomtom 3

Hi people, i have had my Fujitsu Pocket Loox 600 for some time now and have finally got round to getting a GPS reciever. I bought the Rikaline 6021 as it was a CF type GPS reciever and was told it would work well with Tomtom.

Well i have been reading up on it and im using the NMEA 4800 setting with the Rikaline CF option ticked in tomtom and all i can seem to get is a max of 2 satalites in the bars on the GPS screen.

Is it me or is there something funny going on here. I mean i know there was a duff batch of these sent around but i got mine last week so do you think it could be duff??? Or is there other settings i could try??

If it is duff i think ill get my money back and get another CF GPS reciever any sugestions if i take this path???

This may not work but it's worth a try.

When you are selecting the cf card try using Ambicom GPS-CF option instead of Rikaline_CF_HS GPS. I used both of these and they worked on my Ipaq. Also it's fair to say that the initial set up fix with the Rikaline X6 seems to take for ever (30 mins +)
