|

After you have activated copilot uk you can view your licence status on the upgrade/activate page verifying your copilot has been registered correctly and has excepted the code.
I have just bought and activated the European maps and although it came back on screen as being activated successfully it would be reassuring to see the licence status of the European areas on your PDA.
Is there any way of seeing evidence of my European area activation on the PDA?
Once I am on holiday and away from my computer it is too late to put things right, if copilot refuses to work abroad.
Thank you

If you can plan a route on your PDA using a Eurpean map, it has been activated OK

Thanks for the reply robin,
but when I had downloaded the European maps onto my pda before activating them it allowed me to view the maps in planning mode, and I am not quite sure but I think it allowed me to plan from one place to another, strange!? This is why I am starting to question the activation!

You will be able to see the maps in planning. If you're not, then you won't see them in Guidance or Navigation either which means you haven't downloaded the maps correctly to the PDA, or that the process timed out and has corrupted some files.
To check that your EU key is still listed check the upgrade screen and this will list your EU key and not UK key. |

Thanks for the reply Dave, in planning mode I have just got copilot to get directions from calais to paris so as you say Dave it must be activated properly.
One thing I am worried about Dave I cannot see the EU key listed on the upgrade screen which I keyed into it from my upgrade card. All I can see Dave is my Licence ID. If I click on activate/upgrade from the upgrade licence screen it just shows blank boxes for me to input the key code again.
I hope you can help me, thank you?
