In need of GPS unit with specific fieldwork features

I'm testing an application that involves putting a GPS/data logger unit on the collar of a dog, and need to find a unit that 1) is hand-held sized, 2) has a rechargeable battery, 3) has external antenna capabilities, 4) is reasonably waterproof, and 5) can record/log several thousand locations to get a backtrail.

Is the RoyalTek RBT3000 the best unit for this application, or is there another geo-logger you could recommend?

The Delorme BlueLogger has a bigger memory (50K data points) but it's not actually watertight (you could place it into a plastic bag...)
