|
|
I've upgraded my Ipaq hx4700 ROM to 1.10 and have been trying to reinstall TTN3 for a few hours now...!
The 4700 has been completely reset, the SD card removed (although I really wanted the whole TTN3 installation on the card rather than main memory) and the previous pairing has been deleted. A new Pocket_PC pairing has been set up and the PPC has synched with Calendar and Contacts OK.
I've run the TTN3 CD and selected to install TT. There are around 3 flashes of small setup windows and then a larger one sits on the desktop with 'files' flowing across it for ever. A TomTomNavigator.axs file has been written to the same folder as 'My Pictures' and 'My Files' on the PPC but it is only 18 bytes long.
Anyone able to offer a solution? I wanted a fresh installation as the previous one was littered with odd files. |

I get this all the time. Have you tried a soft reset whilst connected to your pc?
With any luck the install dialogue box will pop up. |

Do the wires unplug from the cradle to enable you to hold your pda in your hand. With my Loox cradle, the USB lead will unplug.
Failing that I suppose you could try taking it out of the cradle, soft resetting it and putting it back in the cradle. |
