I have just purchased an O2XDA2s, the Bluetooth works fine with the GPS and TT3, it will also "pair" with my headset (I have tried 3 different ones all with the same result) when I select connect to headset the XDA states "Connection Failed" - any thoughts as the O2 shop and tech assistance via phone unable to fix - there is a ROM upgrade avail which I will try, any ideas greatfully received - Mike |

Thanks for the quick reply - I have installed the upgradded ROM and the headset works fine - I then re-installed all the software (incl TT3) and the headset failed to work - hard reset and the headset works so it must be the TT3 that is causing the problem - I have read on this forum before that it can "hijack" the BT port any sugestions would be most welcome - as I don't want to go back to seperate PDA and phone - Mike |

OK got the TT5 loaded up and working, also got the GPS to connect at the same time - its a bluetooth unit but will only will only appear to work if I select the "other wired receiver", correct baud rate to 9600 then select bluetooth port from the list of choises offered. I find the GPS set-up in TT5 more restrictive than the previous but its probably unfamiliarity. Things were looking up until I made a call with TT5 running - all works great until you terminate the call with the bluetooth headset, it disconnects the GPS - useless for driving, So back to the wired GPS receiver which should arive early next week. One other query relative to the XDAII, if entering a postcode how do you get the on screen keyboard to pop up mine willonly allow data entry though the slide out keyboard - not an option in the car holder! and secondly when I get the wired GPS I will have disable the inbuilt keyboard, to use the serial port - anyone any thoughts - Best Regards - Mike |
