Hi all,

What is the cheapest bluetooth gps receiver that will work with TT5 (mobile). I have order a TT5 which comes with the new tomtom MKII receiver but I wish to purchase another receiver for use in my works van if I can get one cheap enough... The MKII's are £100+ any cheaper alternatives...

PS It needs to work with a Nokia 7710...

Thanks

simon

The most popular BT GPS solution seems to be the BT77 receiver.

It goes by a few different names (Fuzion, PurpleGrid, Rikaline etc.) Ebay have loads on sale from different people. I bought a fuzion one, and it was a Rikaline x50 with a sticker over the top of it.

I've had no problems with the signal, it may not be as sensitive at the other solutions i.e. TomTom BT GPS MKII. The only downside to this is that it wont pick up a signal indoors as easily at the TomTom one. But outdoors (where you need it most) it performs most excellent!

Definitely worth the £50+ asking price. I kept about 20 of these in my ebay watch list, and managed to grab one at around £40 plus 6.99 p&p.
