I have transferred the Pocket GPS World database to the map directory on TT5 (the one with speeds assigned to all the Gatsos and mobiles) It works OK but under the list of POIs each category is shown separately, so with Specs and red lights I have added about 20 POI titles to my list, which is rather cumbersome when it comes to activating/deactivating them. In TT3 they just appeared once in the list.
Can I put them in their own folder, say Safety cameras, inside the Great Britain map directory - will TomTom look inside such a folder? Should I have two, called Safety cameras.ov2 for all the ov2 files and Safety cameras.bmp for the bmp files? I am sure Darren and co have found a way of tidying it up!

You should have 17 files of each ov2 and bmp. They must go into the map folder otherwise TT won't see them, and there's more .... you can only have 40 third-party POI catergories. _________________ Richard

Thanks Richard - that's what I was afraid of. have abandoned the separate speed categories and reduced it to 5 categories of POI. I'll wait until a new version of CheckPOInt comes out before using the individual speed categories
